Pangea Rooms

Lovely apartments in perfect location close to train station, shops, bars and restaurants. Great communication with hosts made check in really easy. Room had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location and the modern amenities. The building was quiet and well positioned to catch the train or the ferry. We visited Pompeii and Sorento from this spot. We loved that we felt if the thick of local life here and it wasn’t focused on international tourism. Everything in the room was comfortable, spacious and well thought out. Even the vending machines in the hall for very well priced beverages.

We didn’t know it would be so much more traffic than other Italian cities we were in so some of our plans changed but that is not on the property owner.

The apartment was close to the railway station and the sea. The room had proper air conditioning and blinds so the temperature was comfortable even though it was extremely hot outside. There was a view of Monte Faito from one window and you could see the beach and the sea from a sizeable gap in the buildings from the other window where one could see the sun set. The room was facing away from the bigger road so was quiet. It was convenient that there was self check-in and we were also allowed to leave our luggage in the hall of the apartment with video cameras before official check-in time.

Packaged pastries, spreads and packaged juice was provided for breakfast, but only for the first of our two mornings. We needed to ask something from the host urgently, but couldn't reach them via email or phone until later.

The location was great! We used this as a base to visit Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri which was fantastic. Lots of shops and local restaurants around this area. Prices are so much better in this area compared to Sorrento!! The room was nice and spacious, would stay here again. Loved that the property had a vending machine in the little lobby area. Felt very safe in this property too.

The shower grouting and drain was quite mouldy but the rest of the bathroom was great. FYI - local shops/restaurants are basically all shut between 1-5pm ish.
