Good location, nice staff

Great location, lovely staff. Nice energy and decor. Good powerful shower with warm water.

There was just one thing letting this place down for me. The beds were some of the most uncomfortable I've slept in, and I've been travelling for years. The mattress was so thin, and it felt like something hard was poking to in the middle. I ached all over when I woke. Plus, the fact that they are the squeakiest beds ever. Every time anyone moved the bed, he made loud noise and shook.

Nice cozy place feels like your in a family house where you interact with everyone and the owners are very nice people )

Great place to hang out in Langkawi. Location is perfect and very quiet to rest. Good vibes, helpful staff and cozy atmosphere! Muchas gracias.

We stayed at a room with private bathroom. Backpackers share a room with multiple beds and shared bathroom. The super friendly owner, Gonzalo, provides hot/cold filtered water, coffee and tea 24/7. He also provided multiple recommendations for restaurants and the area in general. Don't expect a 4- or 5-star hotel, it's a modest guest house, but very clean and comfortable, and with an excellent vibe. Yet, it's very quiet for a good night sleep. Very close to the beach and the commercial area with countless shops and restaurants. If using Grab, enter the Thai restaurant right next door to Sol Guesthouse, which is called Pai Kin Cfood.

We booked as the review score was high but in all honesty our room was not a 9, there was an awful smell and air-con was on but didn't seem to do anything. The bedding was very tired and the blanket was rough and small. That said the staff were friendly and it's great location, not noisy.
