Ocean Paradise Bali

Very relaxing place to be. Great for a holiday where you want to disconnect from everything. The pool was great. Staff were super helpful. I had a very relaxing massage. The rooms looked exactly like in the ad. I really liked the outdoor bathroom vibe.

I found two scorpions in my outdoor bathroom :( but they changed me to another room which was great for peace of mind. The property is far away from everything, so not ideal if you’re planning to go out every day but great if you just want to stay at the hotel. It would be good if they had more facilities to pass the time aside from the pool.

A quiet and secluded hotel, located far away from civilisation in the northern part of Bali.

The hotel was very far from the airport - 4+ hour drive, the transfer car provided by the hotel was really old and smelly (it was a quite expensive ride from Denpasar and back + hotel manager kept pushing the same car on me and my family). The manager was dishonest, knowing that I will miss the 1st night of my stay, pretended that he doesn’t understand on which day I’m coming in and didn’t suggest me to rebook (I booked a total of 4 rooms for my family). The beach is dirty (there’s trash and occasional dead animals everywhere), sand is black and full of pebbles (bring aqua-shoes), the local fishermen burn piles of trash in front of the hotel, many stray sick-looking dogs at the beach. The kitchen serves mediocre food at unreasonable prices, the veggies are frozen, bread is of poor quality, there’s a sickly looking cat begging for food at the restaurant, cooking an order takes too long, there’s lizard droppings at the bathroom sink near the kitchen. The pool is small, 3 or more people become a crowd, it closes at 7 pm, bats are dipping into the water once it starts to get dark. There’s no safe in the room, no deposit box at the lobby, so if you have a big amount of cash with you it will be a stressful stay. The bathroom door in my room wouldn’t close properly, the bathtub was very dirty inside so I had to clean it before I took a bath, the lizard droppings could be found on walls and various other places in the room, my room was also infested with ants. The area is hard to access, so if you’re on a tight budget, you’ll be forced to dine at their restaurant all day. The hotel is surrounded by rice paddies and fishermen’s slums with trash scattered everywhere. The yoga area is dirty and dead bugs are scattered all over the place + huge lizard living on the ceiling.

Hands down the best hotel room we've ever stayed in! It was beautifully styled with a wonderful outdoor bathroom. The pool was perfect, right by the ocean and I liked the fact there was a yoga shala upstairs. Only used it briefly, but great spot for some yoga Breakfast was generous. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant, which was really good. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating. Ria was super helpful and always smiling. she even gave me some extra veggies at breakfast as I don't eat eggs.

The only slight difficulty is the location. If you don't have transport it could be tricky to reach as it's really out of the way, but I think that's what makes it so tranquil.

Staff are amazing - incredibly helpful and make your stay so easy! Previous reviews had been taken onboard and changes implemented (mosquito nets, fridge in room etc).

An absolute paradise. If you want to relax and enjoy the ocean that’s the place to be. The rooms are quite new and have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The outdoor bathroom is unique, I‘ve never seen something like that before. The staff gives there best and try to give you the best holiday. Although the place is a bit remote you can enjoy tasty and fresh food at the hotel or walk or book a transport to the next town. The beach is quite and you can switch easily between pool and ocean. The yoga terasse provides a nice view over the ocean and you can only hear the waves. I hope this place will maintained properly so that it will stay in this good condition. We can only recommend

The peace and quiet and beach location were great. The room was large and had everything you need. Tea. Coffee Making , fridge and large open air bath . Sunsets were lovely and the pool was large and well maintained . The staff went out of their way to help with anything you needed.

Nothing. All was good. The distance from the main road and other amenities may worry some but it was a plus for us.

Lovely, peaceful location with spacious, spotless bungalows. The pool is lovely, although could use a few more sun umbrellas! Good restaurant and reasonably priced. Friendly, professional staff.

My only complaint was the excessive doling out of plastic straws. Maybe ask if guests want straws as opposed to automatically putting them in drinks?

This little oasis is off the beaten track but well worth the effort to find. It forces you to relax and unwind and does extremely well at this. The pool is beautiful, the beach on your doorstep and you can eat at their restaurant quite happily. We had a Balinese massage while there and that was wonderful for weary bones! We were lucky in that we could hire a motorbike so we could get out and about and see some of the local sights, the Sekumpul waterfall is worth it.
