Guests must have a current student ID with the current year listed on it and a bar code or stripe that can be scanned. If guests do not meet these requirements, please consider booking a private room or female-only dorm. During Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest, the property reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards for reservations 14-30 days prior to arrival. The private apartment requires a 2-3 night minimum stay. All dorms are subject to a 2-night minimum stay during certain holidays and events. Please note that this property does not accommodate groups larger than 5 people. Auberge Nouvelle Orleans Hostel reserves the right to charge the 1st night of any reservation at any time after the reservation has been made. If you cancel in the proper amount of time we will refund that 1st night. If you have used an invalid credit card or if your card is declined you will be notified as well as Booking.com (so that they may also try to contact you) and given an opportunity to correct the matter, otherwise your reservation will be released.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Fantastic stay with a real sense of community."

The location was great with only a 20 minute walk to the convention center. Numerous restaurants and tavern within easy walking distance.

Mattresses squeaked an awful lot with every move made on them. But other than that, great stay with courteous staff and facilities.

If you're looking for a place to stay thats near downtown area it's the place to be. Also it was my first time ever staying in a hostel and didn't know what to expect but I ended up making friends before having to travel back! Also the pricing is great if you're not looking to spend an arm and a leg on a hotel

The staff are excellent. Sophia was a babe who couldn't do enough for you

My bed, it wasn't comfortable and it rocked all over the place and squeaked louder than my snoring had a better nip on the floor of the cinema room lol but that's said a great hostel

I arrived very late (3am) due to train delays, and there was no problem to check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free luggage storage.

There were no sockets, by the bed.

Location, vibe, people and staff.

Though it was clean, the design of bathrooms were quite inconvenient. The hostel could be too noisy sometimes. Cancellation policy is not that flexible.
