SeVi Boutique Hotel

The staff made this hotel stand out. They kept saying, "Everything is possible," and they meant it! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I want to commend Rashid, Stella, Masoud, and Hallelujah for their outstanding service in the restaurant and bar. The cocktails and snacks were excellent, and we loved sitting in the beautiful terrace bar where we could look out at the ocean. We found it a great place to get work done! (We were traveling for work.) The food was excellent. We did not agree with the reviewer who said that the portions were small -- far from it! We had more than enough food, especially during breakfasts. We also did not experience shortages of butter or beer. The cottages were large and tastefully decorated. We particularly loved the hanging swing lounger on the verandas of our cottage. We thought the housekeeping staff did a very nice job of tidying up our room each day, as well as providing turn-down service in the evenings. Christina and Philomon at the reception were always friendly and helpful. Finally, I want to acknowledge excellent spa service.

The hotel was undergoing some renovation while we were there, so there was quite a bit of noise during the day. However, the workers didn't start until everyone was awake, so it was not very disturbing in the end. The hotel is more rustic than some travelers might like, but we found that was part of its charm. The only thing that I didn't love were the "hustlers" on the beach. Whenever we tried to walk on the beach, we were inundated by people trying to sell us things. That said, everyone has to make a living, so we were able to politely decline and were then left alone.

The accommodation was lovely, peaceful and relaxing, no noise, no stress, it was exactly what was needed to just switch off and enjoy the island getaway. We loved it.

The only down fall to the hotel was the variety of food choices. Was very limited.

Amazing property, great location, it feels as if you are in the forest.

On a vraiment apprécié tout le personnel, Souleymane et compagnie, Asma, les serveurs du restaurant.

Beaucoup de lézards sont présents dans les chambres.

Durante toda a estadia a maquina de café estava avariada e nunca conseguiram servir o pedido ao pequeno almoço. Haviam muitas faltas de produtos simples, como maracujá (muitas vezes só tinham a quantidade para fazer um sumo. Todas as refeições haviam sempre faltas em relação a produtos de comida (carne, lulas, abacate). A praia é impossível para tomar banho nem com maré cheio ou vazia. O quarto onde ficamos tem zero insonorização e por isso a partir das 5 da manhã com os microfones da igreja ouvíamos tudo e era impossível descansar mais. O wifi é péssimo e está sempre a cair e sem sinal.
