Upper Samitos Rooms

The location is great with a two-minute walk from the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores. The communication with the host was easy. If you don't spend much time in the room and don't cook, this is a good place because of its location.

Upon our arrival, the room was not tidy enough since there were crumbs and hair in many areas of the room (the cleaning on our 4th day has not helped much), and generally, some things require fixing (there is a hole with wires in the wall), for example, the bathroom accessories are too old and rusty and do not function properly. The pillows for the balcony chairs were missing, although they were present in the picture. Also, the room is too small for two persons of average size; there are no places to store your luggage so that you can walk normally through the room corridor (the wardrobe is small and was already half-full with room stuff, so it could have been used only by one person). The cooking place is extremely small, so if you want to use a toaster or a boiler, you have to put it on the stove, which could be switched on if you accidentally touch the turn-on button. Also, the sink is too close to the stove, so if you wash dishes, everything is covered in water (the sponge was old and stinky, and has not been replaced after the cleaning).

Apartment was clean and at great location, host Alexandra was very kind and responsive to all questions.

Lovely place! In front of the beach, only 40ms. Very close to restaurants and city centre. Alexandra is the perfect host, she was really kind and I would reccomend this apartment to everyone come to beautiful Rethymno

This was a splendid experience! The room was clean, well equipped, and more spacious than it looked on the photos. Alexandra is a great host, friendly, and always available to help with any questions that might occur. The location was very good, just 2 minutes from the beach, restaurants and a supermarket. Absolutely recommended!

It was a perfect place to stay. The apartment is just across the beach, but in an inner building so it is never noisy. The old town is a just short walk away. Inside you have everything you could ever need, and it was very clean! The communication with the host was very easy and pleasant, and she was always available to help if needed. I strongly recommend Samitos rooms!!

Very comfortable and very close to the beach. The owner responded to my questions within minutes and resolved any issues straight away.

Everything was great about the property and stay even some really small details that are done to make your stay even better. I always choose the properties from private hosts who do it with love and from heart and Upper Samitos was all like this!! Great, helpful hosts Alexandra and her Granny. Perfect location (back street so its not noisy as on promenade, but same close to the sea). Apartment was super clean and fresh and had all the facilities you need.
