"Basic stay in a good location"

6.0

The location was ok. The room was basic and very cold. We got a heater when we asked for it. Same was with the hair dryer. There are thick blankets on the beds. There were no table, chairs, headrest or closets in the room, just the two night stands and three shelves to put everything. The breakfast ends at 8.30, which I consider too early, as all people who come there come on vacation, but I guess the owners have some rationale behind it. The whole hotel is super clean and when you get to the last floor, it seems it’s not finished yet. The staff was kind, especially the man who was there most of our days, don’t know his name.

I was charged the tax for Peruvians when we got there, although I’m not Peruvian. I figured it out afterwards and I was refunded the overcharged amount when I pointed it out. The breakfast was basic, we only had it once in 6 days. For a person who is always cold- the room temperature, even with a heater was an issue for me.

"Nice place"

9.0

The hotel is very nice! Very nice owner, who works a bit too much. He's really trying and one can see the results! He's also nice to his employees, not only to the guests. The only complaint I have is that the blanket was a bit dirty and that there are a bit annoying taxi drivers close to the hotel. But one can simply ignore them. It's a super nice hotel, one of the best we've been to! The breakfast was good 👍

We had a good stay overall! The staff was super friendly—especially Alejandro, who was always available and even offered to move us to a quieter room when there was a concert next door. Really appreciated that. The location is great—close to transport and a short walk to the main square. The room was clean and comfy, and breakfast was simple but good. Overall, it’s a cozy, friendly place that did the job. We’d stay again!

Only downside: the pictures online made it look a bit nicer than it actually is—but that’s pretty common. Nothing terrible, just don’t expect luxury.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff and good location.

Rooms were not soundproof, with some loud guests making it difficult to sleep at times.

"Great value, highly recommended"

9.0

- Staff Hernan is kind to provide useful information about going to Machu Picchu. He also provides tour options but we didn’t join because we prefer to explore on our own. Also the payment for joining the tour requires traditional money transfer between banks, which is not convenient. - Facility The room is clean and well renovated, most importantly the hot water is stable (especially in the past few weeks, we’ve been to many places that have hot water issues) I really felt comfy staying there. *It would be nicer if they provide hairdryer in the room. I realized they provide hairdryer until I saw a lady went to ask a staff at the reception. They have luggage store room, which looks safe (not that kind some hotels provide that doesn’t have a door) - Location I like it not located around the cathedral where many tourists stay, but it’s also close enough to it (13 minutes walk) and can access some others local and vivid areas. Walking for 5 minutes, you can access to a street filled with restaurants and bakeries; walking for 10 minutes, you can access San Pedro station, where you can take train to Machu Picchu without transfer from there.

The place looks good, the room is quite big and nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. It can get a little cold in the room, but you have extra blankets. The staff was helpful, spoke English as well and helped with the breakfast. The breakfast selection is not very diverse but you can still make a few different combinations if you stay 3-4 days.

The address of the place wasn't clearly stated on booking.com and also the name of the hotel appears with a different name on Google Maps. My uber driver called the hotel to ask for the complete address.
