Santiburi Koh Samui

Beautiful resort. The massive pool and gorgeous beach were amazing. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and air con worked very well to cool on hot days. Great choice and quality food at the breakfast buffet.

When you check in you're encouraged to download the app for making bookings for services which is fine. You are then though constantly sent numerous messages daily about special offers which does become tiresome. It may be standard for the quality of the resort but I found the price for services so expensive. Food and drink is very costly relative to offerings just outside the resort. On arrival we were asked if we wanted to book in for the buffet dinner at a cost of around £70 per person not including drinks.. We declined and went to a local restaurant where food was all freshly cooked and delicious at cost of less than £10 per person for 2 courses and drinks. Again thus may be standard but I didn't see it anywhere else. All prices quoted on menues and services are net of 10% service fee and 7% vat which means actual costs and far higher than the prices published.

Toller Baum- und Pflanzenbestand. Alles sehr gut gepflegt. Schöne einzelstehende Villen. Sehr schöner Strand mit natürlichem Schatten durch Palmen. Massage sehr gut. Am Strand sowie im Spa Bereich. Dinner im Sala Thai sehr gut. Sehr guter Offer Preis für den angeschlossenen Golfplatz. Kostenpflichtiger Shuttle.

Überteuerte Preise in der Gastro dadurch Flucht nach draußen. Die kleinen einfachen traditionellen Gerichte fehlen. Pediküre war leider schlecht. 1 Stunde bezahlt. Nach 30 min. fertig. Eine kleine Fussmassage um die Stunde zu komplettieren wäre so einfach und für Thailand typisch gewesen. Sehr schade. Fisherman der halbe Preis und voll umfänglich.

Not many properties have such a large beachfront and very swimmable water. Santiburi has an excellent beachfront, lots of trees that give shade naturally on the beach beds. Superb. Great cocktails and food at the beach restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Excellent Thai food at Sala Thai.
