Nea Roda Apartments

An excellent apartment in a convenient and easily accessible location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There were large balconies. The host was amazing - he prepared all the information and sent it ahead of our arrival and was available for contact at any time. Highly recommended!

Bathroom is not really bad but shower needs to be improved (a bit small)

The village is very nice. Nice beaches nearby. Room was ok for a night but definitely not "luxurious". There is a small kitchen but didn't use it.

Wifi is horrible/non-existing. I had also no reception, so I couldn't use my phone either. The room was quite dark.

It is located within walking distance (max 10 mins) of the blue flag beach, bakery, supermarkets, fish market and tavernas (1100 inhabitants village) Really well designed - a kitchen/living room, bathroom and two bedrooms, with 3 balconies. Regular size fridge (not a midget one). It is noteworthy that the British contactperson can be reached via phone and the lady onsite only speaks Greek and minimal German. I'm a fluent German speaker so we handled it easily. At a few minutes drive to the north-west is the busier town of Ierissos ; roughly 5 mins to the West, Tripity with ferry to the Ammouliani island; a further ~10 mins from Tripiti, Ouranopoli with sea cruises, Athos cruises and so on (touristic city in all meanings).

The only disadvantage I can think of is the bathroom being kinda small, and the shower also quite small and of open type (no glass, just a curtain). Water gets easily splatted outside it and you need to properly ventilate. Also, there was a mention about a coffee machine however there was none (we prepared our cofee the old fashioned way, boiling water over coffee in a pot)
