"Fine stay in a typical traditional pub"

9.0

Location was great in the middle of the village - we walked to the harbour before supper. The village was very busy on a Saturday night. We initially went out to find somewhere to eat but eventually came back to the Schooner and had supper watching the hurling local derby between Waterford and Cork. Very friendly crowd in the lovely traditional pub.

Because the village was so busy, we had to park quite far away, but this was not really a problem.

"It is the staff and morning breakfast that make this a real treat!"

9.0

It was on the Main Street of a cute little town. It was nice to get off the beaten trail!

We were in one large room with just one bathroom for the 5 of us. We made it work though!

"Great staff, good food nicely served, basic but acceptable accommodation"

7.0

Good location in the centre of town, easy walk from Sea Church venue. Great cliff and beach walks around Ballycotton. Owner and staff were friendly and attentive. Dinner and breakfast were freshly cooked and nicely served.

It was clean and comfortable but could use a refresh.
