"Handy location and good value"

Excellent location in a quiet side street on the edge of the historic centre. Plenty of space and the place was well-equipped.
The only real problem was that the apartment had surprisingly poor sound insulation from next door. Not that they were noisy but you could literally hear their every word. One night the neighbours were chatting until 4am. Not that they were raucous or drunk or anything; they were just talking normally. But even perfectly ordinary conversation could be hears so clearly that it kept my wife awake.
