Cheerful three bedroom country cottage

Comfortable family home from home, Martin was very helpful & accommodating Ideal from family young & old Parents & grand children

The place is very large, with three good size bedrooms all with double beds, a nice living room and a kitchen with brekfast area. It is only 4km away fom Ballina and a good location for exploring beautiful Mayo.

Great location for where we needed to be

Could do with some nice garden furniture & seating outside for when the weather is good to enjoy

It was a home away from home. We could relax, it was spacious, had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. The house was very cozy, has oil fired central heating as well as a stove with plenty of fuel. We were there during a very cold snap so I was worried about being cold, but we were nice and warm.

Loved the location, having the sheep next door to the house was so lovely and added to the stay. Martin, the owner was very accommodating and a great guy. The stay felt so relaxing and peaceful. Cottage was tastefully decorated with all the extras you could need.

Weren't many negatives, maybe just sometimes it's hard to get a taxi, but that's nothing to do with this cottage ofcourse. It was a nice 1hr walk into Ballina though. One thing I'd update is the toilet seat, but that's just personal preference.

The location was ideal for exploring Ballina and the surrounding areas. The house is clean and well equipped. A problem with the microwave was dealt with quickly. Martin was friendly and gave good recommendations.

The TV didn't work very well, but it wasn't a problem. We liked it, so no more to say.

Excellent location , well equipped kitchen , good internet , Sky TV , helpful host , spacious , safe parking , friendly neighbours.

Beds are soft ( which is ok for many) - apart from that all is just right.
