The property itself was immaculate with a lovely garden situated in a beautiful quiet country post card village where the sheep roam freely. Excellent village pub with good honest food. Nearest small town Pickering is only ten minutes by car. The owner Kate is very friendly and extremely pleasant and makes a great breakfast

Katie was friendly and helpful and her beautiful house was comfortable and charming. The village was peaceful and very picturesque. Breakfast was delicious. All in all a lovely experience.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Woodward Farmhouse, The room was spotless and had a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby villages and small towns. The guest sitting room and garden were very peaceful places to relax, outside of the bedroom, no TVs anywhere was a bonus! However, the best part of the stay was being welcomed and looked after by the owner Katie. She was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, recommending palces to visit, walk and eat and also providing a great variety of fresh breakfast options. Woodward Farm House provided us with a relaxing stay whilst horse hacking around the moors. The Farm is located in a picturesque village with friendly pub and friendly people. Kate, our host, was very attentive and made sure our stay was perfect. Kate ensured we started the day with a hearty breakfast and was always on hand to answer questions or provide us with information about the area.

Fabulous location in traditional farming village. Oasis of peace and quiet. 100m from excellent, traditional gastropub with friendly, welcoming staff. High quality renovation in 2022 with modern facilities. Very cosy lounge with wood-burner and large collection of books of local interest. Kate, the hostess, was charming and helpful with lots of local knowledge. Excellent location on edge of moors in North Yorkshire Moors. Convenient for steam railway, and Helmsley.

Location was great. Perfect for walking from the doorstep. Purpose built and newly renovated section of the house which had its own access. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Comfortable bed with white linen and white towels. Lovely tasteful decor. Guests own sitting room. For breakfast the host was able to cater for guest tastes. Knowledgeable and friendly host. Great pub within walking distance. Dog friendly. Easy parking.

No negatives but if you’re expecting to watch a movie, take your own laptop and earphones. No TV. On the positive side you won’t get disbursed by other guests having TV on high volume.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house. We enjoyed eating a perfect breakfast while looking at the majestic copper beech and stay warm thanks to the log fire in the lounge.
