Samsara Beach House

We stayed at Samsara Apartments in Zanzibar for five nights, and I can honestly say it was one of the most memorable and heartwarming travel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, our host made us feel completely at home. She was not only incredibly friendly and kind, but also incredibly supportive and genuinely invested in making our trip amazing. She regularly checked in on us to see how we were doing and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Whether it was suggesting hidden gems to explore, arranging taxis and bikes for us, or just making sure we had everything we needed, she was always just a message or a call away. Thanks to her, we got to experience Zanzibar in the most authentic and enriching way — it felt like we were being shown around by a friend, not just a host. The apartment itself was clean, peaceful, and perfectly located for getting around. But what really made this stay unforgettable was the personal touch and care we received every single day. Highly recommend this place! Super close to the beach in a quiet area. The stuff is super friendly and helpful. There is also a friendly dog - Dexter :) From time to time, there is no electricity, but it happens everywhere on the island.

The house is amazing to stay,I am feeling like home and the lady Jamira so nice,she look after you and always helpful. Hope come back again and stay in this beautiful location. Thanks a lot to Jamira! :)

Nothing, everything perfect!

This guesthouse is just the way we like them to be: Jamila was the best host we met in Zanzibar. She spoiled us with her charme and her homemade juice. She was around at the right moments: never too much but always willing to help, to advice or just have a nice chat. We like the guesthouse as it is not a resort: you feel more like at home and it gives you the idea of getting to know Zanzibar a bit better. The house is SUPER CLEAN, the garden beautifull, the kitchen well equiped and to be used, secondline of the beach and you can use the beautiful swimmingpool next door ( just ask nicely) Our bathroom was private but at the hallway, door with a lock. Not to forget the kind dog Dexter I think it is also a perfect place for women travelling alone...very safe! We will come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and property is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Jamira is lovely and taking care about the place very well. Her fruit juices are the best! Water, coffee and tea available the whole day and even washing was possible for free. It’s a very nice add on, that you can access the resort (Tiki) across the street. There is a beautiful pool at the beach and we enjoyed the food and drinks, too.

The bathroom is not within the room, but in the floor. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it would be nice, to make that clear on the booking page.

A small corner of paradise We enjoyed our time here. The rooms are very well decorated, equipped with everything what you need for a perfect stay. The AC is working very well. The garden is wonderful and you have also sunbeds where you can relax during the day. The location is perfect, just 1 minute away from the beach and the area is very quite. Dexter, the dog, is very friendly. Everything was perfect! We wished to stay more here, but surely we'll come back!

The rooms are well maintained and the AC is working perfectly! I appreciate a lot the cleanliness. The kitchen is well equipped and you can prepare your own food. They offer you free coffee, tea and water. The WI FI is very good. The house is located very close to the beach, is just across the street, and as a guest here, you can enjoy the beach and pool from the resort in front of the house. It s like you are in a beach front location. Thank you for everything!

Clean rooms close to the beach

As soon as you step through the gate of the cottage, you are greeted by a fairytale place, with lush vegetation, where you can relax and enjoy the warmth of the sun. The cottage is very chic, intimate, the rooms tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. The shared kitchen is well equipped and the breakfast delicious. I will definitely come back❤️ I highly recommend it💯
