Oviniru Beach Hotel

Property was in a fantastic location - a very short walk away from the beach and close to nice restaurants. I also used the spa that was very nearby and didn’t need to book an appointment. My room was very clean, comfortable and the water in the shower was hot! Staff were also extremely friendly and even drove me to the airport at 01.15am! Would highly recommended.

Friendly owners, communication is mainly through whatsapp by their daughter but she is very responsive. Price quality very good.

One room had molt on the walls but they immediately gave me another room which was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could be improved a little bit but for the price you cant complain.

A good location. We stayed 3 nights before leaving Sri Lanka. We hired bikes from Benny at 'cycle hub' just up the road in Lewis Place, so we were able to get around independently. It is 2 minutes to the beach. Lovely sunsets. The area is touristy, so shops and restaurants are handy, but it is also convenient for the lagoon or the canal. The owners of Ovinuru took us to the airport at 3.30 a m. In their tuctuc.

Great stay! The hosts were friendly and prepared a nice breakfast. A balcony were available for use. The room and bathroom were really nice with comfortable beds. The beach was just a 5-minute walk away, and the city was 10 minutes on foot.

This is a lovely quiet location very close to the beach. The family are friendly and helpful, the rooms are attractive with high ceilings, fans and a/c. Have stayed twice, easy transfer to airport. Delicious breakfast included.

For me, mosquito nets would have been good, there were definitely some around.
