The host Abrie is just the most amazing guy! Great with communicating and making sure everything is OK. I loved the welcome package and all the little extras, you really feel special when someone goes the extra mile to make sure you're happy. Although my apartment was smallish, it had everything a solo traveler needs when looking for a self-catering unit. As a kayaker, it was also great to be able to launch onto Swartvlei from the front lawn.

We could make our own.breakfast and enjoyed it with a clean and nice outlook on the lake whilst a mother and father goose with all their young ones past us on the grass just to view a group of guinea fowls enjoy their breakfast in the run to the other side of the grass.

I'm still thinking as I am in awe how nice and clean everything is. I cannot see anything that we did not like.
