Enchmarsh Farm Byre

Peaceful and pretty location, just what we wanted for a few days walking. Lovely old pub with good food down the road. Great breakfast. Sandra and Josie made us very welcome and we hope to be back. Some access roads steep and narrow. Drive with care !

The cottage was very well appointed with a lovely bathroom.

The property was not as described on the booking.com site It was very small and not 2 bedroomed not even one bedroomed really as the double bed was squeezed into an alcove off the small living space too small to have a wall and a door. There was a single bed and a bedsettee in the living space and kitchen cupboards on the wall behind the bed settee with a fridge and very small sink with a microwave and air fryer but no hob or oven. The whole place with the exception of the bathroom is very cramped and is really not big enough to accommodate more than a couple. There was no comfortable furniture and although everything was tasteful and of good quality we did not find staying here a pleasant experience.

The little cottage is so cosy, so peaceful, a true hideaway. But Sandra and her family are so welcoming and friendly that it doesn't feel isolated or cut off, you just feel .. calm! And relaxed. It's such a lovely spot to unwind. The cottage has everything you need, is spotlessly clean and has amazing views. It is a working farm, but that's not intrusive to you just chilling out. We can't wait to go back

Beautiful location & scenery. Very comfortable beds & clean rooms. Sandra made us feel at home and nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend. Hoping to go back soon.

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location, everything was brilliant with lots close by. Breakfast was amazing and Sandra and Faye were lovely. Will hopefully return.
