La Residence Emmaüs

La localisation est idéale car les plages sont magnifiques dans l'est de Rodrigues ( à proximité immédiate de Trou d'Argent). Le logement est fonctionnel et bien agencé avec une terrasse suffisamment grande pour prendre son petit-déjeuner en admirant la vue qui est splendide. Darel est très sympathique et disponible

Il y a eu un malentendu entre l'annonce qui décrivait 2 lits doubles dans la deuxième chambre alors qu'il s'agissait de 2 lits simples. Notre 3ème enfant a du coup dormi sur le canapé lit dans le séjour . Nous avons rencontré quelques difficultés pour conduire lors des pluies car la route n'est pas finie pour accéder à la résidence, il faut donc prévoir une voiture 4x4 pour ne pas patiner dans la boue.

Nous avons passé une semaine parfaite à la Résidence Emmaüs. Le logement est très bien équipé, propre et confortable, avec une vue incroyable sur St François. L’emplacement est idéal. Un grand merci à Darel, le propriétaire, qui nous a accueillis chaleureusement (une coupe de fruits et une citronnade maison). Il a été adorable, disponible et très attentionné tout au long du séjour. Nous recommandons à 100 % !

The facilities, the beautiful location, the cleanliness, and the host attitude were excellent. Darel helped us with a boat trip booking and offered us advice and recommendations. The house is a short walk from St. Francoise and its beach and is also close to the starting point to a walk to Anse Bouteille and Trou d'Argent that you can visit multiple times. The kitchen is well equipped and you can prepare a breakfast and eat on the terrace, while enjoying unparalleled views.

The location offering spectacular views comes with a price. It is accessible on a bumpy, unpaved road that we were too afraid to drive after dark and going anywhere after sunset was challenging. You will need at least an SUV to drive this road (thankfully Darel warned us beforehand and offered us driving instructions). Otherwise, you can leave your car at the end of the paved road and walk up to the property. Be aware not to use Google Maps to drive there (and actually many another locations on Rodrigues and use OpenStreetMap instead ) and go there from St Francoise. Otherwise, you'll end up on a road not passable on an SUV.

Beautiful apartment with terrace and ocean view. 5 minutes from one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, with the possibility of snorkeling. Darel is kind and helpful, he offered airport transfer or boat trip. Welcome with fruit and lemon juice.

The amazing view over the lagoon. Very peaceful place with a nice terrace. The accommodation is brand new, clean and comfortable. Darrell helped me a lot to make my stay enjoyable on the island. Merci!
