Riad Merzouga Dunes

The staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The hotel is perfectly located right across from the Sahara dunes. We enjoyed sunbathing in the pool lounge area and found the pool refreshing in the desert heatl. Both the dinner and breakfast were fantastic, plentiful. The hospitality overall was amazing and wished we would have stayed more nights and gone on on of the many excursions that they offer but didn't have enough time between places.

My visit to Riad Merzouga Dunes was a simply incredible! My partner and I went together and we were blown away. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by this amazing aroma that instantly made me feel at home. The interior is so stunning with a bohemian Berber twist. Everywhere you looked was adorable and very thoughtful crafted and put together. The views from the rooms were mind-blowing, giving us a front-row seat to the desert landscape. The tranquility of the riad was something I truly cherished. There is a beautiful courtyard with a large pool. I absolutely loved lounging by the pool, sipping tea, and witnessing the sun setting. It goes beyond words. And when the night sky lit up with stars, it felt like a dream come true. We were served a beautiful array of fruits for desert which just was the perfect end cap to a perfect visit. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the incredible staff as well. This trip was rather last minute and Zayno was incredibly accommodating. All of the staff and people we met were so welcoming and went above and beyond every expectation I could have had. They treated is and took care of us like a part of their family. Every interaction was heartfelt, making us feel like a cherished guest. Honestly, I can't wait to plan us next trip to Riad Merzouga Dunes.

The rooms are roomy, exquisitely furnished, and furnished with all the contemporary conveniences you could desire. The bathrooms are opulent and well-appointed, and the beds are wonderfully comfy, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The staff, however, is what really makes this hotel stand out. Every employee, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping crew, goes above and beyond to make sure visitors have an enjoyable and memorable stay. They are polite, knowledgable, and always ready to assist with any needs or inquiries. I can't stress enough how highly I recommend this hotel. It is the ideal option for anyone looking for a cozy, practical, and memorable stay in the middle of the city.

I've had the good fortune to visit southern Morocco and Merzouga five times. Merzouga was just a layover the first four times (sunset, then stargazing before returning to Erfoud // or simply a stopover before facing the lengthy hike to Zagora). I selected to stay at the Riad Merzouga Dunes for the fifth time. It comes highly recommended by me. It provides outstanding value for money and a warm welcome/accompaniment, since the proprietors are genuine locals whose honest advice and counsel is priceless. You'll avoid tourist traps and get personalized assistance. Everything in a lovely riad, ideally positioned and accommodated. Go for it since it offers the finest value for money and service in Merzouga! to sure, I propose a big trip to Erg Chebbi with Mustafa. Because he was born there, he knows all the paths like the back of his hand. Young, cheerful, truthful, amusing, and quite lovely. The best tutorial I've ever read! Take the plunge!

We stayed in Merzouga Riad Merzouga Dunes, and I must tell that I was extremely impressed! The motel is in an excellent position. The entire staff was really nice and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The room was large and clean, with a comfy bed and everything we needed. I especially enjoyed sitting on the rooftop deck and watching the sunrise and sunset. The hotel's restaurant was also excellent, featuring a wide range of traditional Moroccan and international foods. I highly recommend the tagine - it was delicious! Overall, I would strongly suggest the Merzouga Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasurable stay in Merzouga. Its good location, helpful staff, and pleasant rooms make it a wonderful choice for anybody visiting the area.

We couldn't have imagined a finer setting to disengage from city stress and reconnect with nature. This is a brand-new family-owned and managed riad, elegantly built in traditional Berber style, with exceptionally big, comfy, and spotless rooms in an amazingly serene environment amid the Saharan golden dunes. View the dunes from the gorgeous rooftop, watch the sunset and enjoy the night sky while sitting on snug, comfortable divans, or relax in the scorching desert heat around the pool. The proprietors are really warm and welcoming. We were welcomed with a "Berber whisky" (which is really a tea) and other snacks upon our arrival. The brunch and tajine supper were both amazing. Mustafa has organized a tour to meet local nomads in their traditional communities, followed by a quad ride to witness the sunset from the top of the Dunes. We would absolutely stay here again and heartily recommend it.

The owners are very friendly, and hospitable people. Upon arrival we were greeted with a “Berber whisky” which is actually a tea) and some refreshments. The breakfast was delicious as well as the tajine dinner. Mustafa has arranged for us a trip to visit local nomad people in their traditional settlements and later a quad to see the sunset from the top of the Dunes. We would definitely stay again and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The hotel's restaurant was also fantastic, with a great selection of traditional Moroccan dishes and international cuisine. I especially recommend trying the tagine - it was delicious!
