VidFauw Oasis Villa

Localização. O alojamento está cercado por floresta. Na espaçosa varanda ouvimos os pássaros e podemos desfrutar de um contacto direto com a natureza. O alojamento fica num fiorde e temos acesso direto ao mar a uns escassos 20 m do quarto pois a propriedade confronta com a água. Não acho aconselhado para crianças, mas é maravilhoso. Passamos horas na água que tem um temperatura excelente. A casa é muito acolhedora e o Ronald é a sua alma. Ele quer que tenhas a melhor experiência em Kei Kecil e faz isso acontecer . Cozinha muito bem e faz refeições muito variadas. Nós comemos sempre lá. Fizemos passeio de barco e snorkeling, tudo com muita segurança, ainda tive oportunidade de conhecer a técnica e fazer o meu 1.º ecoprint . Enfim trouxemos saudades e deixámos um amigo ( Ronald) em Kei Kecil.

Bellissima posizione in mezzo alla natura e personale molto gentile. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa.

The location of this hotel is perfect: It feels like a very remote and quiet, nevertheless it is close to the town of langur which is convenient if some shopping is needed. The hotel manager, Ronald, behaved more like a friend than a hotel manager. The breakfast, which was included in the option I took, was delicious and very copious. At request also lunch and dinner could be prepared. A good restaurant is also located at 200m. Excursions on the island and nearby islands could be organised for democratic prices. There were also bicycles available. There was also a possibility to swim. Finally the hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable.

That I could not stay longer at this excellent place.

I travelled in a group of four and we had a great stay here. Ronald organised a lot of good activities for us and showed us around many different places on the island. The rooms had air conditioning and the breakfasts provided were yummy - Ronald always asked if there was anything specific we would like. We were able to organise bikes directly through the accomodation as well as car transport if we needed. Odilia, who also works at the villa, was very kind and helped with anything we needed. One of the people in our group had a birthday and they organised a cake and Ronald even bought a gift for her. Overall it was a great stay.

We had an amazing week at VidFauw with Ronald. The villa is located in a quiet spot just outside of the city. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, with an amazing balcony to relax on. The villa has everything you need, all arranged by Ronald; a scooter (at a very good price), bikes, snorkeling equipment, laundry service (all part of the service). The included breakfast was amazing, each day we had a different delicious meal to start the day, ready whenever we woke up. Ronald is very kind and is always happy to assist, take you on a trip or hang out together and talk. Ronald even arranged a special new year’s dinner for us and took us around the city for celebrations in the city and with his family. We really enjoyed our time here, and would definitely recommend.

It were two overwhelming days in the Oasis villa. The host Ronald spared no expense nor effort to make me feel at home. On the available scooter he showed me the most beautiful places of the island. I heartily recommend this Villa.

The food cooked by the host was very good and better than many of the restos in the area. Good place to meet other travelers. Quiet view of the bay which was not dirty. No noisy boats on the bay. Nice mountain bikes available for use onsite and fun areas to ride.

No bathroom in the suite as I expected. I had to share the bathroom with the staff and other rooms. This is ok for male travelers. Lots of construction taking place on the site which is unpleasant to look at every day. Managers could do more to clean that up. No WIFI onsite. No beach here and nothing to look at when snorkeling but a nice place for swimming and boating. If you have meals or rent onsite keep track of your expenses as nothing seems to be logged on paper here. My room had an unpleasant mothball smell. There must be a better way to deal with odors.

Best described as a home away from home. If you're looking for a quite place to stay, look no further. The meals provided are also delicious and there's no menu so you can either request or you'll get different ones everyday.
