The Lighthouse Loft

The apartment had everything you need. The bed in the biggest bedroom was super comfortable

The windows especially the bathroom let's alot of wind through so bathroom was very cold. If you sleep light like me, the trains and planes and noise from local shops can keep you up

Radiator in bathroom not in use (more needed than the radiator downstairs), shower hot but hot water for bath and sink lukewarm when run. Bathroom window might need attending to soon.

The owners of the Lighthouse Loft offer a unique first floor apartment with plenty of home comforts. There are two well equipped bedrooms, a very congenial and comfortable living room, a hall and a bathroom. You approach the flat down a lane close to a railway line (trains are no bother) and park your car almost outside the front door. The owners have equipped the flat very well and the heating system makes for a cosy environment (although during our visit the radiator had stopped working in the bathroom). The owners also kindly provide some foodstuffs (milk, biscuits etc) which come in handy at arrival. The Lighthouse Loft offers a rather unique opportunity to enjoy the lovely town of Whitehead with its many cafés and easy access to spectacular walks along the coast. Access to both airports (City and the International) is easy and the local train offers quick journeys to Belfast and Larne. Islandmagee in the vicinity is a must to explore with its many beaches and coves.

A pity the radiator in the bathroom wasn't working as it was cold outside but we got used to it.

It was perfect for where we needed to be, it was situated minutes from where we were to be based for work. The place was also very clean with lots of ammenities and beds where very comfortable.
