Palm Hotel Tarapoto

a loud party next to the hotel went until 4am with the whole building shaking from the music. absolutely horrible experience, had to get up for work with only 2 hours sleep and the hotel refused to offer any compensation saying it was not their fault. definitely do not stay here if you value your sleep.

A loud party made it impossible to sleep all night. The hotel didn’t offer any discount or provide any solution. very disappointing, would not ever stay here again.

It was very close to the plaza and the terrace (6th floor) was great for unwinding. The staff was very helpful and kind. The bed was big and comfy!

It is very loud. Next to it there is what I believe is a dental office and they started hammering every day, literally all day from 8am till 6pm, the motorcycles are very loud, they should try sound proofing the windows. There is a club down the street that would play music until 4am, if you are staying here consider bringing your best pair of earplugs!! And They only give you one key for your room, if you travel with a partner you must come and go together.

Very good cost/benefit ratio. Well located near the Plaza de Armas were good restaurants are located. Staff also very good.

A little noise since it's located in the center of the city. Also the lights went off for a short period. Internet connection could be faster.
