Great location near to Cadwell park, friendly ducks and only a short walk down the road to the pub which was really nice.

Booking.com makes it slightly confusing what you're booking "one bed house" is actually an otter pod. And for the price to be honest I expected abit more, it's basically a garden shed with a bed in it.. Large coolbox outside however no ice or cold packs in. The pictures don't show the proximity to the other otter pod that's right next door either. If you're sat in the hot tub you can look straight at next doors table and chairs. Also to go to the bathroom you have to walk past next doors otter pod, if at night there's absolutely zero light anywhere down the path so bring your torch. We had a nice stay but we paid less for a cottage less than two minutes down the road. Not quite as private as you'd imagine either but a nice stay none the less. Just don't think the price point reflects what you get.

Location was fantastic for a quiet get away. Great local pub just a short walk up the stream and the closet town was only a 10 minute drive away. You could also drive to many different beaches in under 30 minutes. The pod we stayed in was very cosy and perfect for two people. The weather was fantastic while we were here however that cause us too be a little warm at no fault of the hosts. The location is also perfect for a family pet as we took ours and he seemed to enjoy the outdoors life he lived for a couple of days. The host also offered a bag of wood for a fire and a hanging bbq that was suppled. We unfortunately didn’t get chance to use this but I’m sure it would be a great addition to the weekend.

I felt as if booking.com made it slightly difficult to tell what cabin/pod/house you are booking but fortunately this wasn’t an issue for us. If you book the one bed room you will be staying in a pod with only the double and small indoors table available. I feel like a small kitchenette would have been fanatic as eating out every night would become expensive but is more than doable as there is plenty of options within a 10/15 minute dive.

The accommodation was fantastic, beautifully presented inside and out with a gorgeous garden and views to lose yourself in. Relaxing in the hot tub with the sound of the river as your playlist was as rejuvenating as you could wish for. We experienced a few families of ducks whilst sitting enjoying the sunshine and again whilst out walking, and this is definitely somewhere to stay if you want to feel closer to nature. The area, in general, is surrounded by some beautiful walks and a pub offering great food and drinks. There is a local shop within a few minutes' walk offering anything you might have forgotten to bring with you with a very friendly gent to welcome you in. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and respectful of our time in the property, so thank you again for an amazing stay.

The only thing we could find to complain about is that the hosts had done such a fantastic job of the place we didn't want to leave and could have happily stayed there enjoying the views and the incredibly relaxing shower for as long as possible.
