The Killarney Grand

Staff were very accommodating

> Room 213 at Killarney Grand Hotel on a Friday night was absolutely unbearable. The disco started around 11pm and the noise continued until 2am. This wasn’t “background music” — it was wall-shaking, sleep-destroying noise that felt more like torture than a hotel stay. Any suggestion that ear plugs would solve the problem is laughable. Even full industrial ear defenders wouldn’t have blocked out the noise levels coming through the room. I would genuinely invite the owner to spend one Friday night in Room 213 and experience it themselves. No guest paying for accommodation should be expected to tolerate that level of noise until the early hours of the morning.

Unfit for purpose, someone needs to inspect this

Perfect location sparkling with Irish culture, lovely shops, cozy pubs, and the most gorgeous national park attractions all within walking distance! We partied for my 40th birthday in the music hall, then danced in the club, making new friends. It was just delightful and dreamy~ we can't wait to come back!!

On the second night, we were a bit too tired to party into the wee hours again, having walked the park the entire day. The club music downstairs was fun to listen to, but did keep us awake. I eventually used the complimentary ear plugs, but my partner did not, as we needed to be up early next day to travel and be able to hear our alarm. Still, it was a delightful and fun experience!

Very central. Very busy pub premises on ground floor. Even though there was live music we couldn't hear it from our room on third floor.

very dated and yes it is noisy however we were only staying one night so it was fine and the bar music was great actually good atmosphere also

Noise was the biggest problem. Noise from bins,roadworks but worst of all the vibration from music every night until 2.I was warned about the music but I was not prepared for the vibration in rooms this caused. Lack of food facilities Stairs with no lift Welcome on arrival
