Meraviglia sul Mare

Great location. In the old town, but not noisy. Has everything you need. Nice view from veranda.

Could use a little renovation and a faucet repair. Stairs might be difficult for older people.

We loved staying here especially sitting out on the terrace overlooking the sea and being so close to the old town and not even a minute walk down to the sandy beach.

we liked the house style, view from terrace, washing machine to wash stuff halfway our holiday and central location. big fridge for own stuff. many storage space and hangers for clothes. beds were ok, we slept well. carrefour express supermarket closeby. Easy checkin with lockerbox and whatsapp instructions from "myhouseinpuglia" and during the stay they are available for questions.

house is nice but needs some extra love and attention (few leaking cranes, 1 crane and sink were loose, watercooker broken, outdoor furniture especially 2 the sunbeds need an upgrade, 1 of 2 clothing dryracks is broken). I had an issue with my creditcard so I went to the office of myhouseinpuglia (5min walk) to pay with normal bankcard and heard from them that they do have contact with houseowner about these issues but guess he is not really cooperative. no big deal for us but be aware of many stairs in a narrow hall. to give an idea: 0 floor: entrance. 1 floor: bedroom and biggest bathroom, 2 floor: 2nd bedroom, and room with spare bed 2 1/2floor: very VERY tiny bathroom (maybe nice for kids?) 3 floor: kitchen + terrace with shade, table and 4 chairs and door to washingmachine room, 4floor: terrace with sunbeds, no shade and 2 airco outside units. aircos only in 1st and 2nd floor bedrooms, but NOT on 3th floor that gets extremely hot. we kept all windows and wooden panels closed during day and at night we opened kitchen window and placed ventilator unit in it to blow cooler air into the kitchen. Only like this it was a little bit doable in the morning. terrace was nice but rarely calm and relaxed in the evening due to bars below. we knew this before booking but it was still a little bit more than expected. Inside was hearable but we were not bothered by it during sleep. Like a miracle the bar was closed on our last night (tuesday). We enjoyed our time here, and want to rate the place a 7,5, but too many things that are also mentioned by others for long time need attention to really deserve a 8. Thats why a 7, which is still ok.

Easy to check in, the app right in the center. Clean and comfy. Authentic experience!

Car parking should have been closer, but that was not a big deal.

The location is excellent as it is very central, in the heart of the old city. The view from the terrace is spectacular. The two bedrooms are very spacious.

The downside is that it does get very noisy at night, as the property is on a very busy street, and there is no double glazing. Additionally, we booked the property because it had two bathrooms, however, the second bathroom is incredibly tiny and one needs to literally squeeze past the sink to use the shower/toilet and keep the door open to dry oneself. It would have worked better as a spare toilet. Both bathrooms could have been cleaner. Also, there is a kitchen, but no kettle.

the cleanliness was not great - plates and cups dirty / dusty, litter and cans from last guests on the roof terrace, and under furniture had not been cleaned and there was dirt unfortunately limited equipment in the house like no bins in key rooms with only one bin provided on ground floor of 3 floors, very limited kitchen equipment like kettle, cooking utensils so very difficult to prepare food at home

location. beautiful views property manager was pretty responsive

1) no WiFi 2) the main bathroom wasn’t cleaned. had toothpaste remnants around the sink 3) the second bathroom was super small. you had to open the door in order to dry yourself after a shower 4) super steep stairs for get to the bedrooms, kitchen and deck

Location is super! Absolutely lovely terrace.

small things like bins, tea towels, just basic amenities for kitchen. Also, the wifi didn’t work and no response to query.
