This property is located in Kastraki rather than Kalambaka. That means a much smaller town without the tourist feel. If that is what one is looking for, the location is unbeatable, with a fantastic view of the rock formations right outside the door. Despite first impressions, the room is adequately equipped. The water heater is brand new and better than what I've encountered in much fancier properties.

The first impression of the room is not great - it is very small, and the paint on the walls initially appeared to be dirt. (It isn't - it is simply the paint scheme.) The kitchen area is tiny and the fridge is "dorm room size" only. That said, the room turned out to be fully adequate for my needs.

Perfect location, short walk from everything. Owner was very accommodating.
