Gardenos Mamas Reas

Amazing tiny apartment located in the heart of the town. Everything was new and clean and it was also perfectly equipped with anything you might possibly need. Host was nice and helpful.

You need to count on hearing noises from the street, the centre is very bustling.

Our host Toki and his son were warm, welcoming, and at hand for anything and everything we needed during our stay. Communication was good before and during our stay. Both our transfers to and from the airport( around 45 minutes) were organised with Toki, and his time keeping was impeccable. Toki and his son also kindly drove us to places outside of Gardenos for new experiences (tour of kavos and their personal recomended restraunts in the locality which were fantastic) and further a field tours which were very good ( greek night, boat tours), these were organised through Toki, he also drove us to the main supermarket and kindly carried our shopping up all the stairs on return, and helped when we became the diner for the local mosquitos getting us creams/ medication from the pharmacy and buying plug ins for the apartment which defineitly helped.. The beautiful quiet Gardenos beach is a 7-minute walk, sandy with beautiful clear waters, sun loungers, and umbrellas available to rent. Local people are friendly. The apartment itself was spacious and clean with an amazing huge balcony with 2 seating areas and pituresque sea views. Everything you needed was at hand. I'd definitely recommend for family's, couples or anyone looking for a quiet laid-back holiday in an aunthentic area, Toki is definitely a professional nothing is too much trouble and he ensures his guests are happy and enjoy their stay.

We had the top floor apartment, its is very rustic in design and could do with updating, a few bedside lamps, matress/ pillow protectors and a guide to the area/apartment would be a welcomed addition. Only Downside was it is reached by many steps some extreme steep. The area is very quiet, 3 taverna's/restaurants shutting around 10 pm and one small shop, so unless you drive, you are confined to the area.

Helpful and kind owners, you will have pretty nice vibes here. Gardenos beach is only a few minutes from here by walk where you can find apprx. 5 Tavernas. The accomodation was always clean and the owners will help you in anything you need. They have a tourist office too, so it is easy to handle e.g. car/motorbike rentals or other tours. I really recommend them, If we will have the chance we will take back to there. :) Thanks for the good experience in Corfu!

I totally made a “wrong booking”, but it turned out the best mistake ever, because I really enjoyed staying in Mamas Reas. The area is good, the beach is near, the property owner is extremely helpful and nice, I loved staying here. and because I made the wrong booking, and needed to leave the apartmant before the end of our stay, we agreed that they give me a voucher for the last few days, which I’m very happy about, because I want to go to there again. I had a good time!

I don’t have a driving license yet, so it’s not easy to get there without a car.

Gardenos was the home base of the second part of my Corfu island round trip, chosen to explore the more Southern regions. I have booked on rather short notice, and the very friendly hosts picked me up directly at the beach and guided me to the apartment. All perfect there ... Wifi, parking, and even a view to the sea! And thanks for the local red wine - I enjoyed it a lot:)
