Point Break Varkala

Jättefint och mysigt boende som ligger väldigt vackert med utsikt över black beach. Fina och rena rum och en liten veranda utanför där man kan sitta och njuta av lugnet och havsutsikten. God frukost, trevlig och hjälpsam personal, speciellt stort tack till Hamza, som fick oss att känna oss som hemma från det att vi kom.

Booked this place without really knowing what to expect, and our stay completely exceeded expectations. What truly makes it stand out are the people - they are incredibly welcoming, passionate, and genuinely create a home-from-home atmosphere. You instantly feel like part of the community. Hamza couldn’t have been more helpful and is a real asset to the place!! Vinu is one of the oldest surfers in the area and renovated the place by hand, which really shows in the character and care put into it. This is a truly locally owned and locally run place … it’s not just about community, it’s part of the community. When you’re out surfing, you really feel that too, with such a positive, friendly vibe in the water and great relationships with the other local surf schools. We’ve been to a few surf schools, and this one really stands out for how closely they want to collaborate with other local people to help develop surfing in Varkala in a genuinely inclusive, collaborative way. The rooms were super comfy, breakfast and coffee were delicious every morning, and the location is fantastic, with views of the sea from the property. We took part in the lessons, which were great fun. The snack and chai stops were a lovely added bonus and really helped create a relaxed, social vibe among everyone taking part. While we were there to surf, Pointbreak is also a great base for exploring Varkala. Highly recommended and we will be back !

The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The food was tasty and the views were beautiful.

We stayed at Point Break just for 1 night, but had a really great stay. It is super close to the beach, and not far from restaurants/shops. Best part by far was the surf lesson, the instructors were very clear and attentive, and we just had so much fun! Would really recommend :)

Alles sehr ansprechend und etwas abseits vom Trubel des Nordcliffs.

Auf booking.com und der eigenen Seite steht jeweils ein Wasserkocher im Zimmer enthalten. Dieser fehlte jedoch. Darauf angesprochen wurden wir auf den frei zugänglichen Kocher (auch Kühlschrank) in der Küche verwiesen. Hat dem positiven Gesamteindruck jedoch nicht geschadet

Excellent location, right next to Black Beach and an easy walk from North Cliff. The staff were very friendly, and the surfing lessons were well taught and enjoyable.
