No breakfast was offered! Property was in a nice, very quiet location. Immediate surroundings were very pleasantly laid out and well cared for. Although it was remotely situated, it was close by some lovely scenery and walks. The proprietors were friendly but far from being intrusive. Access to the property was straight forward and uncomplicated.

I was very surprised the studio apartment had no T.V available for guests benefit! The bathroom had no receptacle for the discarding of used towels - I had to leave it on the shower base floor. Whilst I accepted no breakfast was available, I was further surprised that the kitchen only offered basic tea and coffee. There were no biscuits, crackers, butter and jam condiments offered, which is an almost universal expectation..

Very impressive accommodation. Everything was very clean and well-presented and had a luxury feel to it. The bed was very comfy. The private deck looked out onto a very nice garden with views to the hills in the distance. The little extras like a vase of carnations and good quality magazines were appreciated. The local area was also a lovely surprise. Only a few minutes walk to views of the water and I especially liked the huge pohutukawas and incredible sunset by the Kauri Point jetty. Nearby Ongare point, Tuapiro point and Tanners point were also worth visiting.
