Splish Splash Oasis

They left an amazing set of towels which was very considerate of them and the pool was incredible! I loved it was above ground which kept a lot of the usual bugs or frogs etc from getting into it. The views around with the decks were very nice . You can watch the sunset perfectly from them . It was also very spacious ! The bathrooms were very clean as well !

This property has huge water bugs that came out every night from the kitchen area which was so disgusting. We had bought groceries and had to put everything in the fridge to try to keep the food from not being messed with. The doors have extremely odd locks ? It was a hassle to try to lock things . Also the cargo lift was not available to guests which I found out after arrival , not ideal at all considering it’s pictured on the rental itself . If missed the disclaimer that’s not available for use I apologize but i genuinely did not see anything listed about it not being included when I booked . Also in one of the rooms behind the nightstand were exposed wires next to the outlet from a hole that was made next to the wall ? When I went to plug in my charger I was shocked to see that and I just didn’t feel comfortable plugging anything in that room .

This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The house is lovely and well taken care of. The backyard pool is a plus, family loved it. Highly recommend and would stay here again if we visit Galveston again.

Would prefer a softer mattress but not a deal breaker.

It’s located about 15 min away from the Seawall. Very peaceful and spacious home.

One of the rooms didn’t have an actual mattress, more of a thick pad as a mattress. That was honestly the only negative thing I could say. Everything else was great.
