Eden House Positano

Location, view, cleanliness, very well equipped.

The walk to town/beach was daunting with many stairs but we managed to do it several times. Wouldn’t recommend to even try if you have any physical conditions. Cab from location was 40€ one way.

Wonderful apartment with the most spactacular views on a gorgeous large balcony. This was the highlight of our trip. This apartment was clean The apt was spacious, cozy and comfortable with a nice kitchen. It was beautifully furnished. Decor was simple and elegant. There is a restaurant Costantino and a small supermarket 10 minutes from the apt. The shower had good pressure and sufficient hot water. Oh, the air freshener in the bathroom was divine - it smelled so good. Easy checkin and communication with host was quick. The welcome snacks, juice and fruit was much appreciated upon arrival

The apt is GREAT. There is not much to dislike. Positano is a vertical city so it's steep! We counted over 800 steps from the port and it's all uphill. It took us 55 minutes to walk from the port to the apartment (with breaks). It took 30 minutes to walk down. It may not suit those with physical limitations but we loved the exercise. There's a bus that takes you to the center but schedule is unpredictable.

Absolutely amazing place. The photos do not do it justice. I am basically going to echo all of the other reviews. Communication from Antonio was great and instructions to enter the property were very helpful. We found a beautiful, clean house with fruit, eggs, meats, yoghurt, milk, tea, coffee, juice, bread, little cakes and a bottle of prosecco to welcome us. The beds were very comfy, great shower and lovely toiletries and views to die for. Really don't think I could fault anything about Eden House.

Like the other reviews, we didn't really have any idea of the walk/climb to the property. Google maps said it was a 25 minute walk that was mostly flat but with some stairs. How wrong it was! Expect mostly stairs (lots and lots of them, also quite steep in places) and little flat. If you are not fit i wouldnt recommend tackling this, especially with luggage. There is a bus service that will go up to the property, but it isn't the easiest to find, so I would recommend a taxi. There will be a set price with luggage that may change day to day! Also, not a criticism, just a suggestion - our room was cleaned every morning (a lovely surprise) and our towels changed, but we were only there for 3 nights so we didn't feel this was necessary. Maybe an opt in/opt out of this? Just a bit more environmentally friendly if you are only there a few nights. Other than this we thoroughly recommend Eden House!

Absolutely stunning property!!! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s like an absolute dream. It was clean, had everything you could need. The pool was awesome. The outdoor shower my kids loved. Antonio was awesome. When we arrived he had some food and beverages items waiting for us which was so nice. Having parking was great.

You have probably looked at properties like le Sirenuse and Poseidon and been enchanted by the photos and reviews but annoyed at their prices. Well, now you can let all that go. Eden House has a better view. It has a better pool. It has a better restaurant (da Costantino is 2 minutes away by foot). And it's much less pricey, especially if you're traveling as a family, even in the high season. Have I mentioned the pool? It's huge and it overlooks the entire area. A sheer mountainous cliff covered in flowers is on one side, and you're looking way down on the entire town of Positano on the other. It's seriously excellent. Why would you bother hiking Path of the Gods when you can stay here? Same view, and a lot less effort, right from the crazy-good pool. It's a little village up there, with a bunch of homes and rentals all sharing the pool. The pool was never crowded. When we didn't have it all go ourselves there were maybe 1-2 other families in there. It was bliss. We were in email/text contact with the host so there were no problems doing a self check-in. The home is very clean and everything was ready. The host left us coffee, tea, a loaf of bread, Nutella, jam, a whole bowl of different fresh fruits, an apricot tart, milk, eggs, bacon, orange juice, a bottle of prosecco and coconut macaroons. Delicious! The washing machine was a huge help too - it gets clothes almost dry. Just leave them out on the terrace for an hour and they'll be bone dry. Also there's a dishwasher and a little espresso machine. It's just a beautiful little place to unwind, with great ac, an incredible view, a pretty terrace and just time to be with family. We loved it here!

If you think you're in shape when you start climbing up to this property, you'll know you're not by the time you make it to the top. It will take a long time to get here on foot. Take plenty of breaks (or a cab). You'll know it's worth it when you see the view. Woo! You should totally stay here. It's a place you'll remember fondly for a long time. I know I will.
