Venue was dirty, confetti everywhere, not been cleaned up. Arrived z sat down for dinner on a pre booked table at 7:30 ordered a lemonade, waited 20 minutes, in the end I went to get it myself only to find it was not lemonade but more fizzy water. Had to go in to get the menus. Went up to order. By this time it was 8pm. Had to ask for the table to be cleaned and cleared before food arrived which was a half ass attempt . 9:20pm the food finally arrived. Staff could not give a monkeys about their patrons. Customer service was shocking. I've had better service in 3 star hotels and been appreciated more in less. Will not stay here again.

Gorgeous property. Well maintained.

The location was beautiful and peaceful with fields of sheep and wild deer. The building is elegant and the rooms very comfortable. Excellent breakfast in an airy, bright, classic room. Staff approachable and friendly.

The staff were excellent, helpful,friendly and professional. The food was excellent and the accommodation was comfortable, clean and practical. Location was good with easy access to the grounds.

The only slight disappointment, given the stay was a special treat, was the inconsiderate language used by a loud group of men who were in a dining room occupied by several couples when there was a separate private dining room available. On request we were moved to a table furthest away from this group which helped considerably.

Personeel is niet aandachtig en je moet lang wachten. Aangeboden kamer was ver onder de verwachting (uitkijk op vuilcontainer, douche in bad en kamer nodig gerenoveerd). Na aandringen andere kamer gekregen wat iets beter en ruimer was. Badkamer met inloopdouche was stukken beter. Op deze kamer ontbrak een haardroger. Kamer van bevriend koppel bleek uiteindelijk de badkamer niet gepoetst te zijn! Heel nare ervaring
