Lancers Close House

Clean, spacious home away from home with comfortable beds and modern decor.

Could do with larger sofas in the living room as even as a 5-bed house, with four adults and two children it was a squeeze. Also no side table. TV didn't work at all in the kitchen and apps didn't work on the TV in the living room. Quite noisy, so you could pretty much hear everyone in the house from top to bottom but absolutely fine for a couple of nights away.

The location was fabulous, close to things. The house itself was spotlessly clean, and fresh. The beds were so comfortable and spacious, everything was there what we needed aswell. The garden was lovely and clean. There was nothing we could fault throughout the whole property. The host clare was amazing, nothing was too much trouble for her, always reachable if needed to answer any questions. Will definitely recommend this property and the hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Lancers Close House. The house is spacious and clean. Paul was very nice and helped us with a few things. He maintained good communication when we needed some utilities. The location was not bad; we visited both the lakes and Yorkshire Dales in about an hour and a half. Tesco, Aldi, and other grocery shops were within a 5-minute drive. Our stay was worth the money. We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids, and the house is big enough for more people. The beds were comfortable, and parking was also good. Although there’s only one parking slot for the house, we were able to park by the roadside.

As this property is new to Booking.com, I kindly recommend considering the addition of kitchen essentials and bathroom amenities such as shampoo and shower gel. Additionally, having cleaning supplies readily available in the kitchen would enhance the overall experience. However, I understand that Paul has already made significant arrangements for this property, and I appreciate his efforts.
