This really is a lovely getaway - spacious, well equipped cosy bungalow finished to a high standard, very clean with big comfy bed and nice furnishings. It’s a cute building and very homely inside. The private deck overlooking the water is just amazing in the evening- beautiful sunsets, lovely for coffee in the morning. Hosts could not be more helpful, great communications, able to assist with transport and bookings, even helped us from the airport when we missed the ferry! (Oops!) Really hope we can return one day..

Tehei and Hiria, our hosts, were so wonderful and accommodating. Anything we needed they provided and were happy to assist with recommendations whenever we needed it. The deck on the water and the outdoor shower were highlights, would stay again!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by your friendly staff, who made us feel right at home. The bungalow was absolutely stunning – comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with every detail considered. The views of the lagoon and surrounding nature were simply breathtaking. It truly felt like a paradise retreat. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of privacy, which made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the effort put into ensuring that every guest's needs were met. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from your team. Whether it was arranging a tour, recommending local activities, or just offering a warm smile, every interaction left me with a sense of being valued as a guest. The attention to detail was evident throughout my stay, and it made my time at Bora Bora Bungalove feel all the more special.

It was fantastic being on the water’s edge. Great and comfortable big bed. The bathroom was very nice with a big shower and two sinks. The main room was gorgeous with a high wooden ceiling and wooden shutters on the windows. Like a tiki house! The kitchen was well equipped and great having olive oil, soy sauce and other common items to use. The information folder was very helpful and we liked the library of books too. Lovely garden.

It was a little far from cafes and places to eat. We rented a car as we didn’t feeling confident about cycling as the roads were quite busy and it was very windy and raining during our stay.

Great and romantic bungalow. Decent kitchenette to cook your own meals. Beautiful settings and great with water access right outside the door and in close range to hiking opportunities. The host was helpful, friendly and made sure I had a pleasant and convenient stay. It is true that the bungalow is close to the road, but I do not think some of the other harsh reviews of noise level and state of the bungalow are fair.

I agree with other reviews that the bungalow is beginning to show signs of wear and tear, which is a shame because it could relatively easily be repaired. The kitchen, though well equipped, does need an upgrade on small things like tin openers, knives etc.

First I go to the accommodation, which is also entered incorrectly on Google Maps. 05/24 I tried to change the position on Google Maps. Fortunately, a review and Google Street View show me where the accommodation actually is. A man called Teihei greets us and is very nice. Unfortunately, the woman who is cleaning is as rude as many of the locals on Bora Bora and even a second Ia Orana is met with a short reply.On most other islands, people are much friendlier. The view from the terrace right by the sea is very nice. The car can be parked on the premises.

Everything could be a paradise, but many things are run-down and need to be repaired or simply cleaned properly. There are nasty little stinging beasts in the bungalow. The bites sting terribly. Of course, the mosquito nets don't help if the creatures are already inside. Internet only works after a few hours and on request. There is a washing machine, but despite the very high rental price, you have to pay 800 CFP to use it. They advertise free cold tap water for drinking. There are no mosquito nets downstairs in the toilet of all places and you get bitten to death here too. The number of defects in the house is very high. There are defective slats on every window, the patio doors are difficult to close and have up to 3 cm wide openings on the sides, the shower door is almost falling off its hinges and has a 5 cm wide gap through which the water splashes outside, the taps need replacing and the toilet needs a deep clean. The toilet lid urgently needs replacing. WiFi works occasionally and then only very slowly. The main road runs right past the property and the motorbikes are usually terribly loud. It's not unusual for someone to drive past with crazy loud music and completely exaggerated bass. What a noise. In the early evening there were still annoying dogs, but by 11pm it was quiet. Especially in the morning, the road noise is unbearable. From 5 a.m., loud motorbikes and hundreds of cars and lorries race past the house. It is quieter at a motorway service station. Despite the patio doors being open, it gets far too hot in the house. The ceiling fan makes a terrible noise and has needed replacing for years. Only a pedestal fan helps. Everything is damp, especially the bed linen. One bedside lamp doesn't work and on closer inspection the power cable is broken and the bare wire is hanging down. The seat cushions outside are completely filthy and have traces of mould. The kitchen is in very poor condition.

The onsite manager and his brother (the driver) were very helpful. The location can't be beat for the price. There was good kayaking and snorkeling right off the deck. There were lots of seating and lounging options. Nice kitchen and bathroom. The coffee provided was tasty. Check in and check out times were very flexible.

Wish there was AC. There were wasps and ants in and around the house. The pillowcases didn't fit the pillows.
