Dome Rooms Downtown

Good location and clean, but expectations didn't quite match reality. The place was very clean, and we really appreciated the daily room cleaning service. Great location, very close and convenient to the Old Town. The room was nice and comfortable for an ordinary stay.

The pictures online show much more luxurious rooms. In reality, they are nice but far from luxury—just standard, ordinary rooms. So if you expect to find what you see in the photos, you might get disappointed. The street out front is very busy because of a bus station directly opposite. The balcony gets quite noisy and dusty, and you can't really leave the windows open at night unless you want a lot of noise. You'll need to rely on the AC. There was a persistent bad smell coming from a nearby restaurant, which made the stay on the balcony not very pleasant. That was another reason to rely on AC rather than leave the balcony door open.

The location was really good. Next door to the bus station and within easy walking distance of the Old Town, Port and Town Beach. The room was spacious and the cleaning staff were friendly.

As others have said the stairs to the apartment are daunting (but we managed and we are 70 & 68). More draw space would have been appreciated.

Had a fabulous time staying at Dome Rooms Downtown in Chania. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and well appointed with fridge, kettle, coffee maker and wonderful walk in shower. The location can't be beaten being just across the road from the main bus depot so that travel is a breeze and it feels very safe for solo female travellers like myself. The supermarket and old town are just around the corner and the Venetian Harbour and a lovely beach for swimming approx 10 - 15 minutes walk. And what really makes it is the wonderful welcome from the owner and staff. A bottle of wine and invitation to their authentic Cretan music and dance evening complete with traditional Greek meal absolutely topped it off. Just fabulous and the best accommodation stay of my 6 week Greek holiday. Thank you!

Nice room , good location so close to the bus station. Kind cleaning lady.

Very high staircase and a struggle to carry up our luggage. I had a problem getting the check in information and I was lucky I could finally get the details only 2 hours before we arrived.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko do dworca autobusowego, z którego można pojechać na lotnisko. Bardzo ładnie urządzony apartament. Dobre wyposażone.
