ITAmazing view of Mount Kinabalu from both the room and the terrace! The room is a bit small but fully equipped with everything you need, including a hairdryer, iron, and electric kettle for tea. There's a hot shower and access to a lower-level terrace with an outdoor gas kitchen if you wish to cook. Scooter rental is also available at a reasonable price. The host was extremely kind—he gave us a ride to the town center and to the bus stop, and was very accommodating with all our requests. Great value for money compared to other places I checked in the area — definitely recommended!
Not a downside, just something to be aware of: the area can get windy at times, so at night you might hear some creaking or noises from the structure. It's completely normal when the wind picks up
INMYThe owners were warm, friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and amazingly complete (especially the pantry). Drinking water, maggie, 3 in 1 and even ice cubes were sold at the pantry. There's even a gas stove and kitchen equipment. The view was spectacular. Everyday you will get a full view of the magnificent mount kinabalu if the weather is good. I will certainly come again in the future.
The only uncomfortable thing was the next door guests making noises at night (family with children). I couldn't sleep well because the children were running and jumping around loudly. The road to the homestay was very very steep and place to make a u turn was limited. Parking also limited.
