GBA fabulous little shepherd's hut containing all that was needed for a few days of rest and relaxation, surrounded by countryside views and sounds. Welcoming and helpful owners made the stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely be returning!

GBThe bed was super comfortable and the facilities were great, the dogs loved garden. Enjoyed watching the planes go past, would stay again.
GBThe hosts are wonderful, the hut is set within an old paddock, very peaceful, the bed is uber comfortable! I didn't want to get out of it for work! The log burner is a great touch as is the private decking area with furniture and BBQ.
Unfortunately, when the planes come in to land it's a bit loud. Otherwise you can hear a pin drop it's that tranquil.
GBAbsolutely beautiful, the hut is beautiful, the area is beautiful, the host is lovely and friendly. I had the joy of falling asleep in the most comfortable bed listening to an owl. Being basically next door to mildenhall air base, I had the excitement of watching two us airforce planes fly so low overhead I could see the pilots. It only happened twice and in no way spoiled the serenity. Around half an hour drive from Wicken Fen, and half an hour from Ely, I would highly recommend a visit.
GBHad a lovely weekend away with my husband. Was lovely no tv & could spend time together. Played board games, bowls & went on lovely walks with our dog. Was lovely walking in the countryside. In the evenings saw beautiful sunsets & the stars at night, & got to see the planes coming in.
