GBExceptional B&B in a lovely Welsh town. We used it as a base to explore this beautiful area.
The road up to the B&B is narrow. Take your time but it's worth it. It's a short walk into town.

GBPerfect hosts — very friendly and accommodating. Amazing décor, mixing old and modern styles beautifully. Everything was very clean and tidied daily. Lovely views from the room, spacious rooms, a pool table, a garden seating area, nice breakfast, and good-quality toiletries and towels. Enough car spaces to park on site and a quiet location. Would definitely stay again.
The road to the hotel wasn't entirely straightforward using Google Maps. One section looks like a one-way street but isn't, so don't be put off driving down it. Some of the local roads are very narrow and bordered by stone walls, which can be a little nerve-racking if you're driving a wider vehicle. The bed was a little too soft for our liking, although we do prefer a firm mattress. A non-slip mat in the shower would be a useful addition. My friend would also have preferred separate tables at breakfast rather than the large communal table, but that's a personal preference rather than a criticism.
