Catania Duomo Shine

The host is a really great person, very helpful about recommendations, also very helpful and flexible regarding to check-in/out. The apartment has everything you need, including a washing machine. The location of the accommodation is right in the center of the city, close to all the nice places.

The shower cabin is indeed a bit too small, all the time I had to be careful to not hit the doors while I was taking a shower. The sofa bed from the living makes a lot of noise and is not very confortable.

Great place to stay in Catania. The host, Davide, was exceptional, very approachable, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. He arranged a late night transfer for us and accommodated our late check-in without any issues. We also received recommendations for sightseeing spots, restaurants, and cafés, all of which turned out to be great choices. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious, and cozy, with all the necessary amenities provided. The location is perfect - central and convenient for exploring the city. Despite being in a lively area, the windows are well insulated, so it remains comfortable at night. Overall, it was a great experience with a great host. We would definitely recommend staying here!

The location is awesome. It is great having an elevator. The kitchen is well stocked. The bed is very comfortable and the soundproofing is great. It is handy having a washing machine.

The shower is awful-tiny and the shower head needs replacing. No coffee pods seemed odd, given every other property we have stayed in Europe of 25 years of travel has them? Terrible odor in elevator and corridor. English instruction for washer would be helpful. Less clutter of ornaments would be preferable.

The property was very centrally located, with multiple restaurants and attractions (market, Duomo, main square, etc.) near by. Everything we needed was available in the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and although there is lots of activity outside, the apartment is very quiet when the balcony doors are closed. Davide, the host, is very personable and responded almost immediately to any questions, both before we arrived and when we were there. He left us a city map and made suggestions for restaurants and sites to visit, and transportation routes. He was a very welcoming host.

Fantastic central location, just steps from the main piazza and next to the famous fish market. Staying here truly made us feel like locals, buying groceries right at our doorstep and cooking in the apartment. Highly recommended for guests with mobility issues, as the building has an elevator. Great host who personally welcomed us at the apartment. Lovely view of the colorful umbrellas through the large double windows.

A washing machine would make it perfect!

Idealna lokalizacja, przy samym targu rybnym, mnóstwo punktów gdzie można zjeść świeże ryby i mięso prosto z targu. Pod samą kamienicą pan który codziennie wyciska ręcznie soki z lokalnych owoców. Mieszkanie jest duże, ma trzy balkony. Bardzo sympatyczny Davide i Jego mama.
