Sossego da Laurinda

The rooms were lovely, the facilities perfect. The family running the accommodation were so friendly. I fully recommend eating at their restaurant just down the road. The food was outstanding and they made the food choices for us so everything was a surprise

Lovely room with bathroom. Pool if you want to use it. There are some places to eat nearby, but getting to them requires some effort. I went to the small bar/restaurant at the top of a long flight of steps nearby, up a steep hill. The couple that run the restaurant were amazing and cooked a terrific meal.

I found the presence of the swimming pool filter(?) in my bathroom to be a little odd, but it was switched off soon after I arrived.

Ich hatte ein Bett im 4-Bett Zimmer gebucht und war alleine dort. Das Zimmer entpuppte sich als Ferienwohnung und ich hab es einfach nur total genossen, zu diesem Glück zu kommen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Der Pool war natürlich das Sahnehäubchen nach dem steinigen Weg des Tages eine Wohltat. Essen kann man diese unsäglichen Stufen gegenüber vom Eingang hoch wo die Kreuze stehen, von 19 bis 20 Uhr. Da hat eine altes Ehepaar ein Minirestaurant und es ist ein Erlebnis. Hier würde ich jederzeit wieder herkommen. Ich hab mich sehr von dem Tag erholt. Danke.

Beautiful location and beautiful people who made us very welcome. The private room we had and all the shared facilities just perfect for us weary walkers.

It would be impossible not to like anything here.
