The location of the property was good

When we arrived the property wasn’t clean. Contacted owners who arranged the cleaner to come out straight away. Needs some improvements to property oven the ignition button didn’t work resulting in me burning my hand lighting it with a match. Also there is no extractor fan so the house smelt of food. There was a gap between the wall between the bath. Also the extractor in the bathroom had exposed wires.

There was a slight draft coming out from the basement door however it is Winter and was easily remedied and was fine after

Lovely decor, warm and comfortable

The fridge didn’t work, no dishwasher or washing up bowl, dirty plates in cupboard, no wine glasses for 4 adults apart from plastic ones.

No information at all for wifi code or fire etc, few things missing in the kitchen i.e potatoe peeler dishcloths, and soup ladle. Bed in the attic not very comfortable, very low and creaky

Strong smell of damp all over, nowhere to hang wet coat in living room, floor was filthy, sidetable very unstable. Kitchen, door to basement no lock, door in basement out to street, fridge ice compartment completely compacted with ice so unusable, no tea towels in the house. (We were told that they were in the basement - none there) Stairway not hovered. Bathroom, no lock on door, nowhere to hang clean clothes, no non slip bath mat - bath very slippery, shower rail extremely loose and wobbly, shower pressure very poor. 1st floor bedroom, door would not close, catch out of alignment, bottom sheet on the bed not pulled over any of the corners, was a crumpet mess in the middle of the bed. The child’s bed on the same floor was the same. Duvet too short. No clock anywhere No mirror downstairs. All linen in the basement was a complete jumble and damp. The smell of mould everywhere never disappeared We will never return nor recommend

The hot water pressure on the bath was v low and took ages to fill as a result. Shower good though.

It was clean and conveniently placed for Howarth High Street. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen - although small- was well equipped. The lounge was comfortable and relaxing.

The small bed’s mattress was extremely thin and uncomfortable- admittedly my very small mum slept in it so that could be why. Just to say if you have problems getting up and down stairs they were steep and a bit awkward.
