Beach Front Wine makers cottage

What a beautiful find. An entire cottage that was equipped with food, wine and everything we needed for a wonderful visit to Te Awanga and Hawkes Bay. We arrived later than expected, followed the instructions for the keys and settled in after a day's driving. The sunset over the vines and the bay when we arrived was breathtaking. Kirsten and Tim called in to ensure we were comfortable and offered us a wine tasting at Clearview, the winery next door. We also had a gift of a bottle of Topsy Turvey Syrah, which was delicious. The bed was so cosy with the plumpest doona! There were also cooking magazines to utilise the kitchen and try out recipes with the local produce - I loved that. Excellent lamb, rich cheeses and outstanding wines. Who could ask for more?

Could not fault the property. Kirsten runs a hairdressing business next door for a trim if needed.

Excellent location, very we equipped and an attentive, helpful and friendly host. Breakfast foods provided was a surprising bonus. would recommend.

Great hosts! Tim and Kristen were so sweet. They stocked the fridge for us too. Comfy bed. Easy walk up to vineyards. Hope to come again soon.

Everything… we loved the layout, the small touches, the venue. I have stayed in many Holiday Homes/batches and this one you could really feel the effort & aroha the host had put into the property to make you feel at home - the epitome of manaakitanga!

Lovely set up and location, decor is super cool, the breakfast foods available were well above expectations, it was great. Also all the bathroom products were 10/10 and smelled amazing!

Couch fold out could use a padded mattress protector - it’s just a little pokey with the springs.

When we saw how much one night was to cost we were in two minds but decided to treat ourselves because we would be just down the road from a family booking. What a great decision! It was a nice open location set across from the beach and in a large section. So much thought was put into embellishing what was already a lovely cottage. A welcome bottle of wine and food for breakfast was such a lovely touch. Totally value for money!
