Plenty of space, comfy, and quiet. It was very peaceful and we loved sitting outside under the trees. The cottage had everything we needed and was very convenient to everything in the area.

Armado made an amazing place to relax and enjoy. It is like a paradise in the small cottage with the garden around. Armado and his hospitality are warmly and he helps where ever he can! We had a great time at Blue Vieira.

The cottage was just lovely. Immaculate condition and beautifully decorated, down to all the accessories and artwork. Nice touches like a welcome basket of local goodies, coffee and cookies, some beverages in the refrigerator were so welcoming. The grounds were beautiful with gorgeous gardens, blueberry bushes and big mature trees. I was looking for a quiet, peaceful location to escape and unwind, and the cottage was perfect. The cottage has all the necessities for relaxing and taking advantage of the surrounding area, including a binder with everything you need to know about the property and also tips on great spots to visit in the area. You will be a short drive to Saugatuck/Douglas (to the north) and South Haven (to the south), plenty of beach options and hiking trails, along with local restaurants and shops. Armando was a perfect host and getting the opportunity to visit his studio (on the property) and see his artwork was a bonus. I would highly recommend this property and I hope to come back for a longer stay again in the future!

What a restful spot! The facilities were so comfortable and had everything we could need. Armando nailed the details, from the coffee, cookies and gift basket on arrival, to the comfy chairs and fire pit outside to the directions for how to operate things around the cottage were exceptional. We can’t wait to stay again!

Armando, so gracious and kind, has created a relaxed welcoming experience for guests. We absolutely loved our stay here, and were treated very well by the host. Blue Vieira Cottage is quaint, quiet, abundant with luxe details, and impeccably clean. Meticulous landscaping, a personal tour of the art studio, and a private blueberry orchard for picking with family all enhanced our stay. This property has been a labor of love for Armando, rebuilding the property and making it an idyll haven to occupy one's happy memories. We left feeling honored to have met such a fine person, an unexpected benefit of staying here, and treasured experience for us! The cottage decor is carefully curated with a nod to the Massachusetts seacoast (yes, we were right at home!), and Armando's fine art -- beauty is everywhere! Sitting by a cozy fire on the hydrangea-lined patio listening to the birds sing made for perfect summer evenings here. A stocked coffee/tea station (with amazing fresh baked cookies), cold beverages in the fridge, and a basket of premium quality snacks awaited us upon arrival -- a generous gift from the host. The cottage has a kitchen, dining table for two, comfortable living room with smart TV, beach towels, bathroom with premium toiletries & towels, fresh cut flowers, and a gorgeous bedroom with excellent mattress and fine linens. Reliable WiFi on property*. During our stay of several days, we went antiquing, visited Lake Michigan for beach time and sunsets, walked & dined in Saugatuck harbor, visited a nearby cidery for a walk and libations, got takeout from several great local hotspots, perused Holland's many fun downtown shops and dined on Lake Macatawa waterfront. Blue Vieira proved a convenient location from which to launch our daily activities. You will find good local information/recommendations in the cottage's literature.

We loved how clean and quiet the property was. Our host provided some local treats for us to enjoy which was a really considerate touch, we felt very welcomed by that. The house rules were kept in a binder with clear instructions for operating the A/C, wifi, check-out procedures, etc. the property lush with flowers and immaculately maintained. The location is close to several places to go out to eat or visit and our host provided several recommendations and maps/guides for the area.
