INThis caravan and place is really awesome. The caravan was very clean and well decorated. The view was fantastic and we really liked our short stay. There were clear instructions for check in , checkout and using other facilities from the host and the host was very helpful and active in responding to our queries. We enjoyed fishing in the lake and caught a few roach and perch fishes. We really appreciated when our host allowed us to stay in the property for an extra 2 hours and delayed our check out time. Everything was so perfect.

GBThe lodge is in a lovely setting on the lake. It is a home from home. The heating is very good the lodge was very warm. Clacton, saint osyth, Brightlingsea are very close for visiting. The lodge is on a nice caravan site. Kept very clean. The club was open in the evening it was very quite due to winter, it had a bar, darts and pool table. Also on site shop for basics, bread, milk, snacks and other dairy until you could get to the local shops. This lodge is perfect for a couples winter break as well as a holiday in the warmer months. You can order takeaways and they deliver to the main entrance and not your lodge. We will be back again.
There wasn't anything not to like. If you don't like a quiet break then it's not for you.

There is absolutely nothing to not like about this property, you can tell this lodge is loved and cared for, from top to bottom it’s immaculate.
GBWe've just had a brilliant stay at Lakeside Lodge. It was clear before we even arrived that the hosts really care about their guests as they sent clear instructions to access the property. On arrival, we were greeted with a beautiful, spacious and well-thought place. It was big enough that it really doesn't feel like a caravan. There was also a gorgeous christmas tree to keep us in the festive mood. It has comfy beds, TVs in all rooms and SO many thoughtful touches. We've had good communication with the hosts and would love to stay again in the future. The views of the lake were also amazing with a cuppa in the morning. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

GBThe lodge is really nicely decorated, very comfortable and clean, with nice bedding and towels and gorgeous little touches like bath salts which was unexpected and much appreciated. The lake view is stunning and the lodge was lovely and warm, even during November. It is an excellent spot for fishing or just a peaceful relaxing stay. The hosts were available and helpful and very welcoming, access was easy and they gave us video instructions to find the lodge as it is one way around most of the site so could be confusing. We can't wait to come back again.
