Bouddha Green Hotel

Did not get breakfast. Did not get asked if I want.

There was no tv. Didn’t get breakfast And I almost got charged extra. More than what I booked for during Black Friday. After some talks they accepted the amount I’ve booked for. They need to be clear.

Friendly helpful staff, close to Boudanath Stupa.

Nice and helpful staff. Peaceful environment. Good location few minutes walk to stupa.

I have confirmation email before arrive hotel. But they cannot arrnge first two nights rooms for me and my friend when we arrived. And arranged another hotel for us. That's we felt disappointed. The hotel explained that was management problems and arranged us rooms later. I accepted the arrangements, but next time if rooms are overbooked. Please inform guests before they arrive. Besides, carpet and bed sheet little bit dirty....

Flexible

The best asset of this hotel were its people. They allowed us to checkin in the middle of the nigh (since the airplane arrived at 1AM). At first we were given a disappointing room , but after talking to the manager they moved us to a cleaner room with better bathroom.

The maintenance of the rooms could use improvement. Fixing several small details would give the guests a better impression (such as washing the curtains to remove mold, cleaning cobwebs from wall, covering the holes on the wall, moving the closet to a better location so that the door opens to the right way and replacing the rag on the bathroom window for a real curtain).

Hotel was located at a convenient place to the area of worship, stores and transportation.

The room that was offered to us had mice running around at night, the hot water wasn’t working. One of the bed had red ants crawling all over. We complained to the manager and gave us a temporary room while the room that they had for us needed cleaning. The next day we were offered another room which was bigger a one bedroom apartment . As soon as we entered the apartment which looked beautiful smelled of pee everywhere - Pee smell was from the entrance of the bedroom to the bathroom and the kitchen sink as well. I asked the staff to come and smell the room themselves and they apologized and mentioned that the previous guest had children and one of them were sick. This does not give them a reason to offer the room to another guest while the room smelled of pee everywhere which is really unhealthy for the guest who comes there to relax and enjoy their vacation. The management needs to clean and sanitize the rooms throughly.
