Hot shower, big room, great staff

Nice hotel with lots of greenery and views from the rooftop to the stupa. The room was nice and clean and the water very hot. Location about a 5 min walk to the stupa area.

Breakfast was below average, although I felt like they didn't usually do breakfast as no one else was eating. Not much atmosphere in the hotel but could be really nice with more travellers staying.

Good location of the main street.

The location , the Staff , the bed and the hot powerful shower . The Staff was always ready to help , and very friendly

Location is very good. Close to Boudhanath temple. The staff at the reception, a young lad, is very helpful.

Behaviour of the main manager (or owner) - First of all they gave me a wrong room with many facilities missing as mentioned while booking. On top of that he said that a better room has been provided. He mentioned that he is kind enough to offer me the room at less price, although at same date, same room was available at a price lesser than I paid. I felt that he was more willing to serve customers who came from certain countries with certain background. Wrong room was given to me with no view, no balcony, no toiletries, no tea/coffee maker. These were supposed to be arranged as per my booking. Water bottles I had to ask each day and two were provided for booking of three people. Nobody cleaned the room at all. They have just one person who is at reception and who takes food orders and stay there 24 hours. Exhaust in the washroom was not working. Light in the walking area just outside my room was not working. I was informed that they will give me the original room as per the booking after first day of stay. it never happened. I booked this hotel for three nights. There was a power cut for two hours. One hour we stayed in the darkness. For the next hour three candles were provided. Most of the hotel was still having some sort of electricity supply. There is no sound proofing at all. Anybody who talked anywhere out of their room was heard inside my room - loud and clear. This was very disturbing. A tip - They have two parts of building. If they provide you room in the building just behind the reception. That is probably nicer. And if it is provided in the buiding to the right side of the reception area, then you should check and verify first. Others might have better experience. But this was mine which was not good at all.

It's cold to take a bath without hot water and the room is not soundproofed
