Die Unterkunft ist nicht barrierefrei und nicht mit einem Fahrzeug erreichbar. Da ich körperlich eingeschränkt bin, wäre diese Information vor Buchung essentiell wichtig gewesen. Unter extremer Anstrengung und mit Unterstützung eines Singhalesen schaffte ich den Abstieg zur Unterkunft. Trotz mehrfacher Telefonate ist niemand an der geschlossenen Unterkunft erschienen. Ich habe dort ca. 1,5 Stunden gewartet und dann über Booking eine andere Unterkunft gebucht

The property has a private terrace with an amazing vjew of the waterfall. Breakfast was great! Would 100% recommend including breakfast - it’s served on your terrace each morning at a time you choose. The host was super friendly Comfy bed and pillows The property is at the end of a long road tricky for cars so just be aware when you book. You will likely need to get tuk tuks into town or you can hire a bike from the hotel also which is a great way to explore Ella.

Шикарный вид, тихое уютное местно. Если хочется уединения и наслаждения природой, то вам точно нужно тут побывать. Очень добрые люди, вкусный завтрак. Хочется отметить большую удобную кровать, белье очень мягкое и вкусно пахнет. Хозяин жилья всегда на связи и оперативно отвечает на любые вопросы.

Amazing view of Ravana Falls from the private terrace. Comfy bed with mosquito net provided. There was also a kettle and fridge with tea and drinks provided. Good shower. You're right in the jungle with monkeys around and the sounds are amazing. Very peaceful. Tea and biscuits on arrival. Ideal location if you want complete peace and quiet, would probably suit a couple rather than a solo traveller unless you like isolation!

Be aware this has more of an AirBnB feel than a homestay. There was a lovely elderly couple on site who gave me tea and welcomed me but they didn't have any English for me to understand how to get back into town (actually only a 10-15 minute walk) and there was no information provided about any local restaurants or activities. I arrived just before dark which felt quite overwhelming, all was fine in the morning when I could get out and explore. I did have a Whatsapp contact for any queries, although I had to arrange for myself how to make payment before I left. The road out of town is quite steep in places, tuktuks will take you but tour pickups won't necessarily come out to get you, you may need to get into town yourself.

The perfect place to rest in Ella. Very clean and the surroundings were beautiful. A little complicated to arrive but all the neighbors help us to find it. It's worth the walk, just for the beautiful views. The heater is outside and needs to be turned on and you can leave a light on in case you arrive at night. In the refrigerator there is water, beer and juice. We will return without a doubt
