"Comfortable accommodation"

"Nature get away"

We were looking for something near the center of the town but specially somewhere with nature and animals where we could stay with our dog. Our room had a great view to the garden, where there is a pony and 2 donkeys. It is all fenced and a secured gate, so no worries for our dog to run away. There is a big lake just a few minutes away so bigger walks and downtown 10 minutes away for groceries or restaurants. Breakfast buffet had all necessary food and the owners were there to help and pamper us.

"Exceptional"

The situation of Gefosse is very close to Pont l'Eveque and ideal for exploring this beautiful part of France. The grounds with its lake and chairs to lounge in are lovely as are the old buildings with its history. Our room was attractively decorated and clean. Breakfasts are buffet style and very good indeed with good fresh ingredients. The staff are charming and very welcoming. A very peaceful spot.

It was perfect for our 3 night stay and can't think of anything we didn't like

"Good for a stay in between but don’t expect a cosy B&B feeling"

Good located next to Pont L’eveque and many Calvados producers.

The beds were not that comfortable and despite the major overhaul of the facilities, it did not really give us the B&B feeling we were looking for. Breakfast was ok but no way to get an omelette made by the staff despite the beautiful looking stove in the open kitchen. The domain has potential but more tree trimming is required.

Nice location, nice buildings, great breakfast

Rooms were a little motel-like and we could hear other guests. Power cuts in the night made a 'beep' every time the power came back so we didnt get a great sleep. A nice location and pleasant people, great breakfast but quite expensive given the accommodation
