The lack of privacy was a major issue. The combined bathroom, with the shower positioned over the toilet, and the bathroom window facing the courtyard, made us feel constantly exposed. The room was suitable only for a quick overnight stay. The 200 PHP deposit for a key was an added inconvenience. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable. Lack of kitchen, restaurant.

The owner and staff are very accommodating and friendly.

It was cheap and close to Plaza Host is friendly. Sari Sari store on premises. This is a budget room so foreigners you get what you pay for. Aircon works. Thin mattress but King bed. Wifi works

The hosts here are extremely friendly and hospitable. They treated me like their own family. The shower was fantastic and the room was clean! Also, The garden here looks so beautiful. I will stay here again if in Jagna, it is absolutely the best value for money!

We walked from Jagna Port for about 15 minutes. Got room 7 on the 2nd floor. Was surprised that the room was so new so we booked another night. Rent a scooter from the owner and we went to Anda for a day trip following his recommendation. The beach there has very white and smooth sands and no strong waves at mid day. So beautiful! Super fast check-in and check-out. Clean bed linen. New curtain. Room has a plastic table, 2 plastic chairs, 1 extra mattress having same size with the bed, 1 towel (enough for 2 of us), basic toiletries such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste. Wifi works for watching YouTube videos but takes very long time to upload a one-minute video. Don’t know why I can’t post any photo with this review and my previous review of this place.

The aircon is noisy, same as in another place we stayed. We turned it off and slept with natural air flowing through the shower room. Because of the space limit, the window is next to the door. Other guests might see us when they walk pass if inside is not dark. No window at the back. The curtain is very well designed to cover the window and glasses of the window are dark color. Room has the lighted EXIT signage and it’s always on. Good to have it for our own safety. Good to have a bit of light at night as well but we need to fold the window curtain to have more natural air when we don’t need aircon. I think room 7 has no water heater. In the 1st morning both of us had warm water to shower with but not in the 2nd morning. Not sure why but acceptable since the room rate is not expensive. Better to eat snacks in their small garden or the ants will come to the room. I don’t have problems with ants as it shows that the owner doesn’t spray dangerous chemicals. This is a place to stay with local people so I don’t expect a sterilized room.
