The A/C was too cold and had to turn it up to 80 as to not freeze

It had not been properly cleaned, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes and cutlery. Cutlery in the drawer still had food remnants on it. when we wiped work surfaces down the paper towel came away grey/dirty. The lounge coffee table had crumbs on it. A dirty cloth was in a space next to the washing machine in the bathroom. The sinks in the bathroom and kitchen area had soap residues present. Even though it was advertised no spare toilet paper was provided There was an old notice on top of the freezer saying “Please do not use right side of sink or dishwasher Thank you.” The freezer top felt sticky with grease and dirt. Someone had left some ravioli in the freezer. In the bedroom there were no empty drawers, previous guests had left belongings in them including slip on sandals. There was a bar to hang clothes on across above the drawers - I would not call this a wardrobe - no hangers were provided. Behind a table was a collection of paper shopping bags. One of the bedroom lights did not work and the floor in the bedroom was dirty, paper towels came away dirty. There was no spare blanket for the bed and the quilt was thinner than others we had seen, the weather was cool so we were likely to be cold over night. the sheets did not look clean. The table in the dining area had a glass top that was not properly fixed and had chips along the edges. No information pack was provided, we could not work out how to adjust the heating, when we contacted the host he said he could do it remotely. The host told us that he could get the cleaner to come and clean the following day and bring more toilet paper at the same time. We sent him pictures of what we had seen, he asked us to throw out the things left by previous guests - not our job! He also asked us to let him know after our stay what kind of a refund we wanted. when we asked for a refund through Booking.com he refused any refund. Customer services is still looking at our complaint.

I had unexpected, uninvited visitors seeking temporary job such as mowing the lawn, which is totally not my responsibility to provide such a job. The second male was crippled in his left leg knocking on my door. I had to move 13 days earlier than I expected. When I asked for a refund, I was turned down. Guess the loss is all mine.
USUSNot far from the downtown area at all. Neighborhood was nice, really liked that it was across from a little park. Also the inside was amazing, had everything we needed and we thought the backyard was cute (though we couldn’t enjoy it since it was raining when we were there).
